A flight from the United States with 1,000 oxygen cylinders, regulators and other medical equipment landed in India on Saturday evening, the State Department said.
“The cooperation with the USA continues! Another flight from the USA arrives with over 1000 oxygen bottles, regulators and other medical devices. The third delivery within 2 days increases our oxygen capacity. We thank the USA for their support,” tweeted Arindam Bagchi, official spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
On the previous Friday, the US had sent the third set of its multiple COVID-19 emergency shipments to India.

Earlier this week, President Joe Biden reiterated that the US is committed to assisting India in its pandemic containment efforts during the talks.
The US will send more than $ 100 million worth of shipments to India, including 1,000 refillable oxygen cylinders, 15 million N95 masks and a million rapid diagnostic tests.
The Biden government has also rerouted its own order for AstraZeneca production supplies to India, which can produce more than 20 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.
