RAPID CITY, SD (KOTA) – Early Monday morning, Lyft paid the operating fee to Rapid City
It’s an annual bill for Lyft due on February 14th. Lyft owes Rapid City $ 1,500 to operate in the city of presidents. When the money didn’t show up by February 18, the city took steps to stop the app work effectively shut down Lyft.
But as a token of good faith, the city allowed Lyft drivers to continue driving through the weekend with the condition that the money is received by Monday.
With drivers wondering about the week ahead, Lyft paid the fee to get them back up and running.
